    Actually called that because it was a terminal loop for the trolly/streetcar, which stopped running in the late 1940s. There were other loops along bardstown road over the years but this is the only one where the loop is still visible.

    A good store, but pretty overrated, I think. Vast, great selection. But the prices are generally pretty high. For a better store, keep driving 70 miles east on I-64: CD Central near the university in Lexington. (That said, you've got to stop and get some BBQ next door any time you visit ear X-tacy!)
